TU receives Princess Royal Training Award

Tutors United has been awarded the prestigious City & Guilds Princess Royal Training Award in recognition of the training and skills development programme we offer our university student tutors.

Special thanks to Joseph Flynn, Olivia Massueme, Sophie Mottram, Nefo Yuki-Igbinosa, Farhan Raheem, Monsur Rahman and Joanne Oguntimehin for being part of the application and rigorous assessment, and of course to our incredible founder Joel Buchanan who came up with our tutor model over a decade ago – which has given hundreds of young people from diverse, low-income and multilingual backgrounds meaningful work experience alongside training to boost their career
