This week we got to celebrate a magical milestone for both our pupils and Tutors United itself at an amazing Graduation event with South Liverpool Homes and Merchant Taylors’ Company.

We are ecstatic to announce that, following our pilot this past Easter, our S.T.E.A.M. Ahead programme, in partnership with KORI Youth Charity, has been generously funded by People’s Postcode Lottery to continue later this year.

Earlier this week, the Mayor of Lewisham Brenda Dacres OBE and Lewisham Council presented Tutors United with £10,000 of funding, all made possible by Mulalley and the Foundation by SEC.

To launch the next step of our journey, The Leathersellers Company hosted a celebration on our behalf. The night was highlighted by the launch of our 2024-28 Strategy, amazing speeches, and stories from so many who make up the Tutors United community.

Filled with insights from the successes and shortcomings of the National Tutoring Programme and the 16-19 Tuition Fund, as well as an exploration of key principles for a new national scheme.

Tutors United has been awarded the prestigious City & Guilds Princess Royal Training Award in recognition of the training and skills development programme we offer our university student tutors.
