Impact Report 2024-25

We are so excited to present our Impact Report for 2024-25, a year in which we reached over 800 young people!

Here are a few headlines from an incredible year at Tutors United:

🩵 We tutored just under 700 enthusiastic primary school pupils, and provided additional support to their dedicated families.

💛 We hired, trained, and paid 108 young people – university students and sixth-formers – who made up our committed cohort of tutors and classroom assistants.

🩷 We ran 62 tutoring hubs around the country – both in person and online – serving communities in the North West, the Midlands, London, the Home Counties, the South West, and beyond.

💜 We partnered with 65 innovative housing associations, community organisations, businesses, charities, and funders, coming together to provide vital, accessible, free education support to children from low-income, migrant, and refugee backgrounds.

💚 We had a relentless team throughout the year, who's hard work every day makes the impact captured in this Impact Report possible:

Amy Whitelock Gibbs, Alina Monaghan-Gibson, Olivia Massueme, Greer Mulcahey Banks, Leah Ives, Rachel Kwok, Salma Begum, Emma Hain, Kyle Hilton, Joseph Flynn, Sadika Begum, Joe Coombes, Racheal Olaitan, Arran Wylde-Eccles, and Lula Taylor.

💙 And a huge thank you to our ever-supportive Trustees:

Laura Wilson, Robert Holmes, Freda Tait, Emily Kell, Katie Carr, and Rob Hale.

Every year when we begin putting together this report, making our TU community proud of the work we've done together is always at the front of our minds. Because it's not just the core team, the tutors and classroom assistants, and our trustees that make up Tutors United – it's the thousands of children, families, partners, funders, collaborators, community members, community centre staff, school leaders, teachers, tutor trainers, friends, and supporters that make this impact possible.

Thank you all for your help, your encouragement, and your contributions to our 2024-25 academic year.
