Joining us in May 2025, Arran Wylde-Eccles is a Programme Officer at Tutors United, helping to keep our tutoring programmes running smoothly and ensuring that the young people we work with see meaningful academic progress and grow in confidence.

Arran studied Creative Writing at the University of Essex. After graduating during the pandemic, he began working as an online tutor – an experience that sparked a passion for helping young people reach their full potential. Since then, he’s worked across the charity sector and is committed to using education as a tool for creativity, character-building, and real change in the communities he serves.

Outside of TU, you’ll usually find Arran in the kitchen making fresh pasta from scratch, testing out new recipes, or meeting up with friends for a long walk somewhere outside the city.
