Lula Taylor

Lula joined Tutors United as a Programme Officer in August 2025. Based in Liverpool, she ensures our tutoring programmes are running smoothly, communicates with clients and parents, and tracks pupil progress and attendance, working to have our young people maximise their time with us.

Lula studied Law at the University of Liverpool, graduating in 2022, and went on to complete a PGDE in Secondary Education at Liverpool John Moores University. She spent two years teaching full time as Teacher of Religious Education, demonstrating her passion for Philosophy and Ethics, Community Cohesion, Equality and Diversity. Lula also studied and graduated with a Master’s degree in Educational Practice at LJMU during this time, focusing her final research on tackling Misogyny in Secondary Education.

Outside of her role as Programme Officer, Lula enjoys reading queer fiction, spending time with her cat Ziggy, enjoying the local independent food scene, and travelling Europe or mountain walking in the Lake District – when she has chance!
